Tomorrow morning is the first day of a new school year for public schools in Michigan. So many things come with this new season…
- Perhaps learning a few things in math, science, and English
- Worry over how to dress, what to say, where to go, what to do
- Learning who to talk to, which teachers to trust, and what food is safe in the cafeteria
- What activities do you participate in? Baseball, band, or basket weaving?
I have no answers for you. My only guidance is to learn to trust your heart and allow your mind to work with it. As a teenager, I remember the two didn’t always go well together (the heart and the mind).
Dear Lord,
Please be with all students, teachers, and administrators. So many new adventures are at hand for all. Help each one to find goodness in each and every day.
