What Happens in Vegas (09)

I’ve heard there are other M&M stores, but this was my first. In Vegas of course.

Three stories of delightful colors!

However, it was too much to choose from, so I didn’t get anything … except awesome photos.

What Happens in Vegas (07)

Las Vegas has so much to offer! Seafood buffets, a gigantic chocolate fountain, steak galore, and alcoholic beverages everywhere. What caught my eye? You’ve guessed right: Popcorn!!!

Moral of the Story: Even in far off lands, you might find something that reminds you of home.

What Happens in Vegas (03)

Among the things that don’t need to stay in Las Vegas are the desserts. I appreciate fruity things, and these three fruit desserts with one chocolate option were divine! I did share them with my travel companions, and we all agreed the red one was by far the best: raspberry. Thank goodness for buffets!

Moral of the Story: When eating in Vegas, save room for a few desserts.

Picture Please!

A friend said that if I’m going to continue writing this blog, which has not been easy to do daily, I really need to include a photo each and every day. Since photography is one of my preferred activities, I was glad to hear it.

This is an image of an adorable plastic egg I bought at Dollar Tree in a packet of three. When a bunch of chicks were coming over, I put them together with a cute statement about chick friends with some chocolates. Everyone got one. Even me!

Morale of the Story: It’s good to love others. Just remember to love yourself too!

Eggsactly

When did we decide that lily white eggs were good to eat?

Chocolate milk is better than white.

Milk chocolate is tastier than white chocolate (which isn’t chocolate at all).

Mint chocolate is better than plain. (Unless you’re my brother who considers both chocolate and mint dreadful.)

Dark leafy green things are better for us than light green things.

Luscious honey is a better sweetener than processed white sugar.

Black coffee is better than the light brown coffee I drink with enough flavored creamer and sugar to kill a rat.

Dark pumpernickel bread is better to eat than the pasty white stuff.

Well, I for one prefer the freckled brown, green, and blue tinged eggs from an in-law’s free-roaming chickens.

Plus, if I’m not too lazy on a Saturday morning before making breakfast, I blow out the eggs so I can use them in a Pysanky project with a fun colors.

Pysanky? That’s a subject for another day.
