Word of the Day: Happy
Ecclesiastes 3:12 I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live.
Do the simple things of life bring you joy? Does serving others? What makes you happy?

Word of the Day: Ate
Joshua 5:11 The day after the Passover, that very day, they ate some of the produce of the land: unleavened bread and roasted grain.
No, the image is not of unleavened bread, but there is some roasted grain. I use this image because I was traveling for work, away from home for two solid weeks, and I can get terribly homesick. This was a meal shared with new friends, reminding me that friendship is found no matter how far from home. Home is in the heart, and breaking bread brings the blessing near. I ate with others, breaking bread, and God was with me.
Word of the Day: Find
Ecclesiastes 3:13 “That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God.”
To toil in the orchard means enjoying the harvest … providing all four seasons have been present.
Word of the Day: No
Joshua 1:5 “No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
As far and wide and deep and high as your eye can see, the Lord of Love is with you.
Word of the Day: Shadow
Job 14:1-2 (NIV) “1 “Mortals, born of woman, are of few days and full of trouble.
2They spring up like flowers and wither away; like fleeting shadows, they do not endure.”
Life is fleeting, therefore, enjoy today!
We know not how many days we have nor how long we have to enjoy our friends and family.
Treasure the gift that is life.
Word of the Day: Bless
Psalm 29:11 “The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.”
At the holidays there is no bigger blessing for me, after days enjoying family and friends, than to enjoy time in front of the tree, with only the tree lights. Quiet, tranquil, and relaxing in the blessings of the holiday.
Word of the Day: Leave
Joshua 1:5 “No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
In Michigan, daffodils are a promise of spring to come, a renewal of seasons, and another chilly winter warming into summer.
